Well...the synopsis of the book is great...wish it lived up to the hype! Fortunately it was a quick read. Ok if you're bored, but if you have a choice- choose to *not* read this
Similar theme to Gone Girl but not nearly as good in my opinion. I like the alternating voice of him and her but some of each side seemed completely irrelevant to the book as a whole. Decent and quick read but not a fav.

I don't know how anyone could like this book. There are nonredeming qualities in either of the main characters. I wanted to strangle them both with my bare hands. The point of view narration is horrible. How this ended up on a best book list is beyond my comprehension.

So incredibly slow. Was happy when it was over. The author writes in beautiful detail but the story was boring.
A lot of people compare this to Gillian Flynn's Gone Girl but I didn't think this book measured up. Still a good read, though.
I would give it 3.5. Fun summer read. Fans of Gone Girl will like.
Good, but not great. Not a thriller, exactly, but it kept my attention. It would have been four stars, but the ending was a cop-out (though I didn't guess it at all).
