An interesting look into the end of a relationship and more, but I still can't figure out how I feel about the ending.

Maybe should be more of a four star, because I ready it in two days and really enjoyed it. However, I didn't love the ending. Writing style was great and there are enough twists and turns to keep you interested.

This book was recommended due to the fact that I enjoyed Gone Girl. Maybe my expectations were too high but this is no Gone Girl. The characters are unlike able and are in a bad marriage but other than that, the story is not as good, there's no mystery and the characters are not as well-developed. Meh.

Wasn't what I expected. It wasn't thrilling or exciting...nothing really happened. More of a character study.

I wish half stars were available so I could give this book 2.5 stars. I hated both these characters and the story line is ok.

Kept me turning the pages! Solid psychological thriller, a good last book of '13!

For the first 3/4 of this book, I was riveted. The comparisons to Gone Girl are only accurate to a degree, and I appreciated how slow and painful this couple's demise was, as opposed to the psychotic manipulations of the character in Gone Girl. However, the book lost me for the last 40 pages or so which was disappointing.

I really don't know what I think about this book. The characters kind of annoyed me; Jodi was a passive twit who I wanted to just shake, though it was supposed to be known that she was like that do to her upbringing. That still didn't excuse it for me. Todd Was a jerk. He lead Natasha on, he led Jodi on, and he was even going to leave the barmaid on. Was I supposed to feel sorry for him? I didn't. I didn't feel sorry for any of these characters.
Maybe the baby. I'll feel sorry for the baby.

A really interesting idea for a thriller. I really enjoyed the fact that the story was told by the two main characters. The only thing I will complain about is the fact that there was a lot of seemingly superfluous details that made some of the chapters drone on to a point that I found myself not quite sure of what I had just read. Overall a great read.

I abandoned this book by page 143. None of the characters were likeable, the plot felt overused, and I just was not enjoying this read.
