That ending...mind blown. Scarlett is quickly becoming one of my all-time favorite FMCs. And what the heck...Soren 😭 Someone needs to do something about Talwyn. Can't wait to read the final two books next month.

Book three of five and I love these characters, so far every book in the series will break your heart into one million pieces, these are up there with TOG in my opinion and I’m jealous of people who get to read it for the first time, thank you for coming to my TedTalk.

3.5 - I’m not fully connecting with this series tbh. The first half of the book felt so repetitive and a lot of plot devices were things I’ve seen before. In saying that, the second half was stronger and I definitely enjoyed it more

What the actual hell did I just read?! So much happened I can barely wrap my head around it. The plot, the character growth, the unexpected twists and turns?
This kept me on edge the entire time and things hit me from nowhere.
This book is a testament to why I love fantasy. Will be consuming the next one immediately!

The only reason I didn’t give this five stars is that I was DYING to get to the payoff of the fake dating storyline. Book 3 was very good. The story kept moving and there were plot reveals consistently through the boom to keep your attention. I am officially as invested in the side characters as I am the mc’s (except talwyn).
