i cried, I laughed, I got angry. I love a book that makes me FEEEL something. We got not one but two different romance stories in this series. We learn more about this complicated puzzle of who Scarlett is. Just when you think you know something? You don’t! 


My opinions on the characters below - might contain some insights into the story line but does not contain explicit spoilers 


Scarlett - she’s growing on me. I think this is the first book where we saw actual change in her and how she communicates. That implied love and affection for her family becomes explicit. 

Cassius - send me into a fucking spiral. I didn’t realize how connected I was to him until this book. 

Azrael - growing on me! At first I thought he was a dick but he is just a harder man to understand. 

Talwyn - I cannot wait for her to see her end. She is selfish, disgustingly bitchy, she lacks empathy. 

Nuri - count your days!
