Ooof this book took me through a lot. Scarlett learns more about her power but also is hauled over the coals time and time again. I am absolutely hooked.
I’m struggling with what to say without giving away too much.
The action is exciting but I would have loved more training sequences. Sorin and Scarlett are revoltingly cute. Some favorite characters are back. There were some sections that dragged for me but there was a lot to cover here and I’m not sure how the pacing in those areas could have been improved.

I’m excited and apprehensive to read what happens next.
