For so much content this has really weak character development. Also kind of islamophobic

Nice read. Picked up this thriller for something to read on the plane and it didn't disappoint. Never mind that at some point you'll wonder what's the relevance to yet another story line, or the fact that the science really (really) doesn't add up... It's well written and funny enough for a thriller/detective to enjoy. Although I personally could have done without the last five sentimental pages.
Moest even op gang komen, maar dan wordt t spannend, komen de verhalen dichter bij elkaar en wil je niet meer stoppen met lezen. Bovendien is het hele idee van biologische oorlogsvoering vrij beangstigend en actueel.
I’m giving it three stars for seemingly lazy writing and cardboard cut out characters, but I’m adding a star because it was a real page turner. I don’t normally finish books of this size so quickly, but it reminded me of a trashy true crime series that just drops on Netflix - completely bingeable. In fact, instead of trying to adapt this into a movie, they should adapt it into a series. Hell, you could even have spin offs of it. The phrase that came to mind while reading it was that it hot, glittery garbage. It was fun. Maybe this is quintessential airport read, I don’t know, but after Dostoevsky it hit the spot.
