Uncomfortably young FMC. But it is treated with care, still 18th birthday all bets are off.
I think this was one of my least favorite Layla Frost books so far. But it was still a page turner. Very light Daddy kink.

Layla Frost knows how to spin a dirty tale. The depravity was written so you would want it too. The men were hard core but loving. Maximo was the Daddy we all want in books and Dove/Juliet was the damsel in distress who was given wings to fly in her guided cage.
The loving Alpha male with touch you and die vibes is perfectly written. The torchure scenes did not fade to black (Punch intended). And the smexy times were never too much that you got bored.
I cannot wait to read more of Layla Frost's work.

While at first glance, this did not seem like a book I would enjoy, I was sucked in almost immediately!
Juliet was such a strong voice for herself & she was not the naive young girl you expected.. rarely did her voice give you a clue to her calendar age...
This age gap romance was dark, there were moments of such beauty..
If you are a jealous & possessive fan, you will devour this story!

Comme d'habitude, je n'ai pas lu cette série dans le bon ordre donc je termine la lecture par le premier xD
J'ai apprécié ma lecture qui était sexy et pleine de tensions (l'intrigue flippante !) et j'ai ADORE les hôtels de Maximo où j'aurais adoré séjourner !
Ce n'est pas un coup de cœur parce que, bien que j'adore l'écart d'âge dans les romances habituellement, ici l'écart est vraiment trop flagrant en terme de pouvoir / d'expérience / d'influence (oui l'héroïne a le choix mais elle est quand même très jeune et surtout très très dépendante du bon vouloir du héro même s'il lui dit que ce n'est pas le cas et tout ça après avoir vécu une vie horrible ...)
Bref, une daddy romance un peu sombre que j'ai lu avec plaisir !

As usual, I didn't read this series in the right order so I'm finishing reading with the first book xD
I enjoyed my reading which was sexy and full of tension (the scary plot !) and I LOVED Maximo's hotels where I would have loved to stay !
It's not a favorite because, although I usually love age gaps in romances, here the gap is really too obvious in terms of power / experience / influence (yes the heroine has the choice but she is still very young and especially very very dependent on the goodwill of the hero even if he tells her that it is not the case and all that after having lived a horrible life ...)
In short, a dark daddy romance that I read with pleasure !
