This book is definitely a laugh out loud one. I couldn't put it down. Who would have thought getting faked engaged to your boss wouldn't work out? Both characters have a past. Charlee who is bubbly as hell but doesn't let anyone stop her. Rath, rough around the edges, but in a good way. Their lines blur together and it could honestly end really bad for both of them.
You must read this book! I promise you won't put it down.

I listened to the audiobook. This book had so many funny moments. I was pleasantly surprised. I have read many books that are described as romantic comedies, and they barely generate a smile. Boss Man Bridegroom was full of lol moments.
I liked Charlie and Rath together. Loved the way she helped him to loosen up. I liked Charlee's quirky, colorful nature. I'm sure we all knew what was going on with Grandma.
The part of this book that irritated me was at Julia and Bram's wedding. I get that they never had a discussion about Vanessa, and I would have been ticked off too. Yet I was surprised at how unyielding Charlee's response was. I was so sure she would confront Rath. Call him out.
I guess it was necessary in order to show how both Rath and Charlee were holding tightly to past hurts. I just thought it was weird that this ONE thing would convince her that everything else was a lie.
After the wedding issue, the tone of the book to a major turn down for me. What had been lighthearted, funny, and relaxing became frustrating, irritating, and went on too long. I understood Charlee being hurt, but she was unable to recognize anyone else's hurt, and unwilling to hear what was being said.
It seemed outsice of the character that was established for Charlee. That's just my opinion. It did take it from 5 stars to 4 stars for me.

Rath... Oh my Rath! I loved every moment of this delightful book. Charlee is so bubbly and quirky but not in an over the top annoying way so many Contemp Romance heroines are. She's sweet, and takes grumpy, guarded Rath by storm.
I'm a massive sucker for a broody man and Rath wasn't as broody as my usual but that's ok. He's got a soft spot for his friends and he and Bram are bromance goals. But he does have walls up, walls Charlee is determined to crumble.

Gotta love an alpha male being completely and totally baffled by his sunshine EA. Bless.
This book had me laughing like a loon from start to finish. Charlee was such a perfect character and I absolutely loved all of her quirks. Rath was a bit uptight until Charlee came in and disrupted his perfectly ordered world...but those disruptions made his world better. Her organization was better than his, but he was stubborn. Their love story definitely gave me all the feels with all the laughs. Be prepared to get absolutely nothing done once you start this book because I promise you won't want to put it down. Meghan Quinn wrote another spectacular book that is a must read.
