Such an enticing and fun read! Had me in stitches.
Charlee is outspoken, funny, ruthless and inappropriate in most situations. She lacks brain to mouth filter and that's what I loved about her most. She doesn't care, she says it like it is, whenever she wants and to whoever she wants and she doesn't care who witnesses it. She is a quirky, bright and fun woman that had me in tears from laughing so much.
Rath is everything. He is fighting every way he can to keep his feeling and undeniable attraction to Charlee. It doesn't take long before that begins to fail and he gets the bright idea to marry Charlee to grant Charlee's Grandma's wish for her granddaughter. But what starts as a fake engagement turns into something so much more that, and they both find themselves tangled up together, both unable to fight the feelings they have for each other.
These two were perfect together. Rath at first didn't take to Charlee, he thought she was too outspoken but it didn't take long before that changed. The chemistry between them was undeniable and I could tell these two belonged together.
The author wrote this flawlessly and I couldn't help but fall in love with both main characters.
I haven't laughed so much in a while, I couldn't put it down!

Maybe a 2.5... the book had its moments, but I just couldn’t stand Charlee’s jumping into conclusions and shutting down any type of conversation then claiming he hurt her. Even if he wasn’t communicative in the beginning, that’s not an excuse to run with a narrative that’s neither here nor there.

The boss and his assistant. You would think it’s just another cliche story. But this has so much heart and chemistry. Charlee is incredible. Absolutely a must read.

Absolutely amazing!
I laughed so hard in so many places, the main characters are adorable and I love them together. I devoured this book in a day, combined with numerous laughing until I can breathe sections, followed by crying so hard I went through a stack of tissues. My all time favorite type of book - one that makes you howl with laughter and bawl with tears. I read this book first, but I’ll definitely be going back to read the first two books in the series now. Do yourself a favor and read this book, just make sure it’s on a day you have nothing going on, because you won’t be able to put it down!
