Rath Westin runs Westin Enterprises and vows to never get involved with another one of his employees again after his last relationship blew up in his face. Yet he now finds himself being proposed to by his assistant and he is wondering how he found himself here.
Charlee Cox is one of a kind and sometimes struggles with what comes out of her mouth but she is a genuine person. When her first day at her new job is an epic fail she comes back stronger than ever and ready to make a great impression.
Slowly Charlee begins to find her niche at work but she is struggling with her attraction to Rath and when she gets bad news she must decide if she is going to be able to make her grandma's dreams come true. Yet what will it cost her?
This was such an amazing read with some wonderful laughs and some other moments that bring out the kleenex!
I wasn't sure if I loved or hated Rath at the beginning of the book but I must say I was definitely leaning towards the hate side. When I put the pieces together at the beginning he was so mean yet at the same time I could see why he was a little annoyed with Charlee. Yet it goes back to everyone always being in a rush and not appreciating the little moments. Then everything on the first day was such a huge blow up that I was shocked how little patience he had and it was no wonder why he was going through the assistants so fast!
Charlee honestly made me laugh so much as she was so quirky and awkward with her love of stationary. She made me laugh so many times yet you also saw another side of her that made her change her whole life around for her grandma. I loved how caring she was yet she was also very insecure and hesitant to get in any relationship after being left at the altar.
One thing I loved was the progression of Charlee and Rath's relationship from pretty much enemies to so much more. Yet both of them had walls built around them due to their respective pasts that they each had to work on in order to let the other one in. It was such a slow process and it almost seemed like they didn't want the other to know that they were holding back yet they were.
I loved games night and it had me laughing so hard over the cannon. I loved these moments and I loved how they were scattered throughout the book.
I was so impressed with how much Rath was worried about Charlee's grandma and how he really wanted to make the two of them happy. I also loved how things began to change between them and they were so hot together and kinda cute too!
The stuff that happened at Bram's wedding was intense and heartbreaking. I had a feeling that Charlee was overthinking everything and I really felt bad for Rath as he was stuck. Everything that happened afterwards was totally shocking and my heart broke for Charlee as she felt so alone!
The end made my heart excited again as I was so happy that both Rath and Charlee decided to fight for what they believed in!!
Such a great ending!!

I just started reading and I want to say that I haven't been feeling very motived to read lately mostly because of the quarantine and so much going on so it might take me a bit to finish. Okay so normally this is the perfect way to pull me into a book. Confusion, mystery, and of course my curiosity. I'm defiantly curious about what is going to happen next and how it even got to that point. But I'm not so sure because I've been feeling so unmotivated but maybe this will be the book that will bring me out of that horrible funk.
Okay, I would never use turd nugget as an insult. Oh my god, that's just weird enough to be funny. Also, I don't know anyone that is so excited and loves organization so much.
The next day... Omg, I love Bram already and I'm almost sure I'm going to read his story. We'll see but he is literally awesome. Also, I love this so far it's light and funny. Rath has good friends and I love a story that gives me more than just the relationship between the two main characters. Question: Who doesn't love a hip grandma??? I'm all for it.
Omg, I love the grandma. She is everything!!
Okay, I'm starting to wonder how we ever get to the whole proposing thing. I am so curious and I'm defiantly getting sucked into this story. She talks so much and seems to have no filter. I love it.
Jesus this girl is something else
I am 100% reading Bram's story
I'm am so sucked into this story but it's literally 2 am and I have to wake up early tomorrow!!! I want to continue so badly but I shouldn't I really shouldn't.
Okay one more chapter, only one.
Yeah everyone knows one more chapter never works out. And it didn't
NO, I can't just leave it there I swear to god I might dream of this book if I do, ugh fine I will but I want to continue soooooo badly!!!!
I woke up early. Yup me. The girl that values her sleep and will do anything to get the most sleep she can, Well besides going to sleep early because that never happens. I woke up early because I had to but then instead of going back to sleep after guess what I did. Yup, I read the book. So worth it.
I can see that he likes her ways and he finally admitted it to her which was amazing. This has been so good so far. I love how bright and bubbly the heroine is. I love how much the hero loves it but refuses to say so. Until he has to. It was so funny how he literally was freaking out over some blinds!!
Hours later......NOooooooo why?? I wonder what it is because she's not saying exactly what it is. I hope it's not that bad.
Also, Rath is much more fun than pretends to be. He pretends to be all tense and that's the exact opposite. I can already see it happening. He is so falling for this girl and he needs her and once he realizes how much he needs her he will truly show his true self. He is so whipped already!!
I could die of cuteness overload right now!! Seriously right now!! What did I say?? Yup he's whipped and needs her. He knows he does and more than just an assistant he needs her to help him relax and she balances him out. This is so cute!! I want Chinese food!!! and more.......can't say but it's perfect and makes my heart full of joy!!
Direct quote:“ Her smile grows even bigger and my heart trips in my chest. I’m absolutely fucking screwed.”
Yes yes, he is!!
I'm about halfway through the books and I'm already dreading the end!! I don't want it to end!! I'm so reading Bram's books and maybe even Roark's book too.
Omg, I figured it out I know why he's going to suggest a fake engagement!!
Honestly, I expected the idea to be more casual and just chill and not filled with so much emotion. Rath seemed to get into the flow way too easily and I absolutely loved it. I felt like my heart was going to pop right out of my chest. It was so intense and just plain sweet. Rath's change of attitude and his change in how he interacts with her was so fast and it feels so intense. I love it with my soul.
I swear the grandma is their #1 fan!!
Ahhh the tension is everywhere I'm just waiting for one of them to break and it's going to best awesome.
Still waiting........
so close I can feel it.......
Finally!!!!
This guy is so completely whipped and I love that he is willing to do anything to keep her forever and make her his. It's just too much it makes my heart swoon.
The grandma... She is sneaky. I did consider that but I didn't actually think by small passing thought was anywhere near right. everything is a mess now but I'm counting on Rath to fix it because most of this is a misunderstanding.
My heart is crying right now!! The emotions!!! I wanna cry!! They need to fix this it's tearing my heart out!!
Yes yes!! This is what I love!! When a man fights for his girl and doesn't give up. I hate when the hero in a book decides he screwed up and there is nothing he can do. And as much as I love Rath's friends I'm glad he is fighting for her and no one had to convince him. It's all coming from him.
I'm done!! I'm sad that it's over but let me just say this was so good. This is one of my favorites from Meghan. I loved the ending even though I would have loved to see it even more in the future. I'm so happy with this and honestly brightened my whole day.
I'm am 100% going to read Bram's book but I'm still not 100% sure if I'm going to read Roark's book but most likely I will.

I’m not normally a fan of funny books. I think I had a sense of humour bypass when I was little and I just don’t see the funny side of things or they make me eye roll and I hate the silliness. But! I laughed and I laughed and Chuckie won me over with her colour coordination and Friday song choice.
She has made me realise my colour coordination of cup to clothing is woefully inadequate and I need to up my game. I need to coordinate the colour to the day, Thursday will now forever be green day because it’s the day to make the money.
Hold the front door of Paperchase, I need green and purple pens so I can get the full on effect. Black, blue and red, I’ve already got covered. I might need new post it notes too. Monday is going to be such fun! I draw the line at plants though but I could totally get down with the daily pastry.
I loved how Charlee Cox, aka Miss Bag of Dicks wove herself into everyone’s hearts with her joyous giving of mini bags of skittles. I wonder if she arranges the skittles in colour order, preferably in the shape of a flower before she eats them. See, we are spirit animals! Rath Weston really had no chance at all resisting her and her baked goods and when she plays the grandma card, his fate is sealed.
Funny, sexy, silly read. I really want to play Pictionary with Rath and Charlee!

I really liked this book! It’s an easy read and flowed so well. It’s a super cute romance between two people.. and one of them isn’t being very honest.

Thoroughly enjoyed this!!!! First book of MQ’s that I’ve read. Plan on reading more for certain. MC’s & side characters were fantastic; if you’re a lover of workplace romance, mild character growth, nosy but lovable family members, and several options for laughter, then this is a book I’m certain you’ll love. I get why my friends call certain female authors queens 👸
Oh how I love a good office romance. This is the third book in the Bromance Club series. Rath hires Charlee as his new executive assistant. So many hilarious scenes with her bubbly and eccentric personality. A huge contrast to Rath's gruff and grumpy ways. Even though they were opposites, they totally fit together. The chemistry between them was just perfect. Especially when Rath started realizing that he actually liked Charlee's quirky ways.
This slow burn marriage of convenience romance was just so much fun! There was a lot of sexual tension and when they finally gave in to their feelings, I was a goner. I am a huge fan of this series and kind of sad that it's the end. There was one bromance scene in particular with Bram and Rath that had me laughing.
I took off a star because of how Charlee pushed Rath away towards the end. He tried so hard to explain and sent the sweetest text messages, but she didn't want to listen. I wish she would have voiced her concerns instead of running away.

sometimes i wonder if some romance authors thinks that being quirky (aka the sunshine) heroine means being dumb, annoying, and downright unprofessional. The writing's immature and the characters felt like teens instead of 30 something adults.
aaaaaand that's my first dnf of 2022.
