I have been waiting to hear Rath's story since he first hit the scene in The Secret to Dating Your Best Friends Sister. In case you haven't read that one, Rath is the best friend of that hero, Bram, and they have the best Bromance that I love to read, along with Roark from Diary Of A Bad Boy. These guys make an amazing threesome!
But when Rath is at work, its all Boss Man Crusty Pants and keeping his business manner professional and that is the total opposite of Charlee Bag of Dicks! Well actually her name is Charlee Cox but.... you see where the nickname comes from. And I will be totally honest, she did grate on my nerves at the beginning as I felt she was just so over the top, I couldn't see any connection between the two... but hang in there peoples, it all comes to light and she isn't as crazy as her first week on the job. She is a vibrant and voracious woman who loves her job and anything relating to Planners. By chapter eight, I was in love with her!
All in all, I had a great time reading this book. I cherished the way Rath learnt to relax and have fun but also how he grew within a relationship. He was an exceptional Bridegroom and Charlee was the absolute right gal for him. There were a few little storyline segments that didn't feel right to me, but it didn't sour the tale so I can live with it. There was however a little too much of the back and forth that had me wondering if it was advantageous or not, but that is the beauty of reading a book, the choice is yours to make. And I say, give this one a go!

All I can say is once again Meghan has me in tears from laughter and tears in sadness! She loves to play with my emotions and is soooo good at it!! I’m not sure exactly what she was taking when she created Charlee as she is a quirky one but Rath???🥵🥵🥵 Once again pure perfection, especially the audiobook!

I really enjoyed their story. Made me laugh so hard. I hated the third act breakup but enjoyed how he got her back
I just thoroughly enjoyed this book.
I fell in love with most of these characters during the other stories of this series and I had so much fun revisiting them. Rath had been kind of a mystery until now. I don't know if there is any other book that I've laughed out loud so many times. Like seriously laughing so that my family wondered what I was doing. Charlee is a hoot! She is so awkward and adorable and I just LOVED her. And then watching Rath figure out how to deal with her. YES, I would take a thousand more chapters just watching that happen. I felt all of the angst and contemplation that they endured and wound up emotional right along with them.

Manic pixie dream girl is not for me. Charlee was so annoying and the third act conflict and resolution was just not for me.
Technically I'm DNF-ing at 77%, but I feel like I paid my dues on this one so... marking as "read".
I'm undecided if that's a solid 2-star for me or if it's somewhere ranging up to 2.4. Certainly not enough to tip it to a 3. Quinn is typically a 3-3.5 read for me but this one just never quite got there.
It passed humorous and went to straight (and unbelievable) comedy. There's no way the MFC's grandmother talks to her granddaughter OR the MMC the way she does. And if a billionaire CEO's new executive assistant did even two of the dozens weird-ass things the MFC did, there never would have been a chance for them to get to know each other enough to get to the point of the book - the bridegroom. I know it's mean to be funny, but it misses for me due to its absurdity.

MQ does it again. I have never been disappointed with a book of hers and I doubt I ever will be.
I was so excited to see Ms. Quinn taking us back to the world of Bram, Roark and Rath!
I know I was waiting, not so patiently for Rath's story and boy did Ms. Quinn not disappoint!
This is an office romance with the Meghan Quinn twist!
I loved the brashness of Charlee! She is color and light and even though she has had something horrible to her, she has tried to pick herself up and dust herself off! I love her love of all things office supply, her friendship with her grandma and her absolute amazingness at her job as an executive assistant. I could so relate to her (being as though I was one of those myself for 20 years!).
Rath is a determined man, he likes his things just so and he is particular in his business. He is absolutely floored when Charlee starts working for him, bringing color and light into his world, along with the newfound love of romance books!
The chemistry between Rath and Charlee is epic and I loved reading how hard they fought against the pull that they had. It took a big scare to bring it all together!
As with all of Ms. Quinn's stories, you get hilarity, I found myself giggling out loud many times when I was reading. She brings wowza hot heat and lots of heart.
It was absolutely amazing to see all the past characters in these series to make an appearance! The bromance between Bram and Rath is total #relationshipgoals !!
Thank you, Ms. Quinn, for saving the best for last!

This was a crazy whirlwind sort of suspend your disbelief story. Charlee is a bit manic and I really loved watching her needle the MMC, but some of it was just over the top.
