Can a two week road trip really turn hate into love? Chloe, her twin Vanessa, Chloe's best friend Cooper and his friend Tyler decide to drive from Florida back to school in Seattle. Vanessa and Cooper are crushing on each other, but neither of them are aware...in the beginning. Chloe and Tyler are firmly in the hate zone. But then Vanessa and Cooper finally admit their feelings to each other...which leaves Chloe and Tyler...together. The tension between them!! SWOON!! But will their preconceived notions of each other be overcome?? I LOVED this book!!! Highly recommend!
Every once in awhile I come across a male lead character that has me smiling, swooning, and truly wishing that all men were that romantic/observant. Tyler Banks has officially found his way into that category. This man had my heart melting and swooning (especially when he admitted to himself that this was 2 years in the making). I figured I would hate him from the beginning. That I would feel horrible for Chloe because this was probably going to be a road trip from hell. I was completely wrong. Not only could I NOT hate Tyler but the times when I thought I would be pissed at him were few and far between. Tyler had a goal in mind and he set out to accomplish it. He never once wavered, even when he had his doubts. But he also made sure to have time for Chloe. This man gets all the stars in my book!
Then we have Chloe. I loved her innocence and pure heart. She simply reminded me that a kind thought and open heart really can make a difference, even if it's a small difference. She was fun to get to know. She wasn't afraid to explore and see new things. She was also fun to listen to. I am not very bright when it comes to science or even space for that matter. But she made learning about space interesting. I also loved reading about her twin vibe with Vanessa and her strong relationship with Cooper.
All the main characters in this book were fun to read about. I loved following Cooper and Vanessa's released in the background. I loved watching this gang interact and not let certain bonds interfere with their relationships. This was just a wonderfully heart warming book with very little drama but a whole lot of happy vibes. I think it's what my stressed out self needed at the moment. I loved getting to know Tyler, Chloe and the rest of the gang. I will miss them dearly.

This was my first book from this author and phew, I’ve got another go to author on my list. I loved Chloe and Tyler together and loved the storyline of the road trip across the country together. It was so much fun and dreamy getting all the best at every stop they made. The connection but angst they had for each other from the beginning was easy to see. He was always trying to keep his distance from her but always her protector when she needed it. It was so cute. I can’t wait to go back and read the others and future books.
This book from Kindle Unlimited was just absolutely the cutest. I loved that the road trip was super low-key and fun. I loved all the relationship dynamics that we got to experience throughout the book. I loved the maturity of the characters. I loved that the relationship between Chloe and Tyler had been developing for two years before they finally gave in. I loved that we got to see her sister's relationship with her best friend evolve at the same time as we got to see her love life evolve. I loved that there was a conflict at around 80% of the book (which is where I have noticed most conflicts take place), but I loved even more that the conflict was talked out and didn't carry on for longer than it needed to (which I have also noticed in a lot of other books I have read).

Chloe Robinson is adorable. It’s official, she my new best friend forever. I want to hook my arm in hers and walk the streets of New Orleans claiming beads, drinking hurricanes and eating all the food. I’m so hungry! I want croissants and doughnuts and jambalaya and po boys. Ravenous! Starving!
I love her relationship with Vanessa, there’s nothing she wouldn’t do for her twin. Sisters and best friends. The fact that Vanessa starts dating Chloe’s other best friend Cooper could cause tension but it doesn’t (mostly).
The fantastic three become four with the addition of Tyler Banks. Off they go on a road trip across America taking in hotels in the Banks chain so Tyler can research which ones are performing well and which ones are letting the name down.
Tyler morphs from being a grumpy git to a thoughtful and charming young man. Got to love it when he throws out a wanker, a tosser, a bollocks, and my favourite - a tool!
