The interactive concept is really fresh. I enjoyed the activity. Gives you a new thrill with every decision you make. But I found it quite difficult to finish (all 12 endings) since I needed to backtrack. A lot.

I got this book at the dollar store so I wasn't really expecting much to begin with. Each of the stories were cute, but happened way to quickly. Overall, it was a decent book...but it wasn't even worth the dollar I paid for it. #sorrynotsorry

Fun and cute and pretty much exactly what I expected. I did it a couple of times, trying out different endings.

I didn't personally do this, but I did see someone say that you can pass on all the guys and have a nice time alone, and that makes me VERY happy!

Would be the perfect beach read. I loved Choose Your Own Adventure books as a kid, and this one brings me right back. It's a light-hearted book with sun, sand, and romance. It's easy to quickly get to the end...and then go back and choose other paths to see what else might have happened. I imagine my students will enjoy this one, especially when looking for a quick read. #SummerLoveMarco

When I picked up this book, I was expecting myself to enjoy it immensely. Partly because I used to enjoy choose-your-own-adventure books a lot when I was in grade school and reading one now would be like reminiscing my childhood days. Plus, it also sounded like a perfect summer read. Sadly, this one was a let down.

I didn't grow attach to any of the characters, not even the character I was supposed to portray. The girls were all too flirty. It was like 'Hit on me people! Hit on me!'. The insta-love was also surreal and annoying. I know this is plain fiction but it wouldn't kill to add a little realism to it. Each and every relationship would just miraculously 'click' in a matter of minutes. One minute you see someone and the next you're already entwining your fingers with Mr. Right. Everything was cut short and there was no character development.

Aside from that, the writing style also didn't appeal to me. There's nothing to praise aside from the fact that the author stepped out of the box and tried to create a different type of contemporary.

I tried, I really did try to get through this book but after putting this down for a while, I honestly just had no interest in finishing this.

This story is a choose your own adventure book that follows this girl who is visiting her cousin for the weekend in the summer and where that will take her with 11 love interests.

This book is very short for the number of love interests in the story. They all kind of blend together and aren’t that interesting. This story just had too many love interests which was its downfall because none of them were very developed in any way and would always end way too quickly. The author would give them one distinct personality trait for you to remember them by (ex, best friends brother, babysitter, dog walker, lifeguard, etc.) and that’s all we had to go off of.

After the first two love interests, the story gets really repetitive which honestly made me not care, the stories just got worse and more boring as I went along. I was planning on doing an in depth review on each character but I’ve honestly forgotten about them all.

If you are looking for a more well developed choose your own adventure story, I’d recommend My Lady’s Choosing, or you could download a choose your own adventure app which then I would personally recommend choices. This story just did not do it for me. I am interested in reading more choose your own adventure books, but not one that is this short with so many love interests.
