Really intelligent writing, great found family stuff, and a fun story, particularly for anyone familiar with gothic literature. There was also a little progress on the underwhelming number of female characters in this one, too.

I love this series and I'm so happy to see Vivian has written a third! I think this would make a great show or movie as well. Come on Netflix! I also listened to this and again Suzannah Hampton does such a wonderful job doing all the voices. I wish she could narrate my life!

Short, funny, and nothing short of incredible what a fantastic sequel. We switch cities to Paris for our setting this time around and have our favorites collide with the supernatural authorities and underworld across the channel.

I could keep reading this books forever. It gave the same fuzzy cozy feeling the first one did so it wasn’t just a fluke, this is some incredible writing. Looking forward to the next one already!
