I love how warm and charming this series is. There is an underlying gentleness and sweetness that I really didn't expect in a story about a doctor to monsters. Again, there is a slew of lovely homages to gothic horror. Greta is wonderful and saves herself, something I always love. Friends from the previous book make appearances and new ones are introduced. I will read every book in this series!!

I liked the first book in the series a bit better but this was still entertaining and worth the read.

2/10 it's too much. Could have been three separate books. Best part was the ghosts. Not everyone has read or seen Phantom of the Opera so I had no idea what was going on half the time lol

Also, is this some sort of extremely chaste RH?? Maybe add a little bit of...spice?

This series is great fun so far! My favorite in this one is the way another group that we meet in this book is basically cosplaying Ye Olde Times, and seeing the strength of Greta's ethics in practice.

Second book in the series about Dr. Great Helsing....a monster doctor. In this one, Greta is kidnapped by a vampire leader who wants to use her as bait to get her friend into his lair. Interesting plot, engaging characters, but could have been a little shorter.
