Ok I love 50 and this was a very interesting read as it gives you more insight into his life and his success. Nothing really groundbreaking but it was good listen. His voice reading was actually very soothing.
Also,...he MEDITATES!!! and is friend with Deepak Chopra and that was like shocking to me....U can't get over it hahahaha

There are some valuable chapters in this book, not all are, but some are golden.
This book was so good man. I love that 50 was the narrator of the audiobook. So much wisdom and great advice given in this book. I'm so glad that he broke down all of the mainstream actions that's happened throughout his career from the fofty message to the Tierra Marie situation lol. It was great hearing his prospective on being the mogul he is as well as the honesty and vulnerability displayed why explaining the relationship with his first born son and son's mother. It was a pleasure to listen to.
a good pep talk - especially first half and last chapter

I decided to read this book after seeing people say great things about it. I was not expecting much from 50 cent and do not support him due to his pettiness and his mistreatment of black women. However, I decided to listen to the audiobook from my library and discovered that I was completely wrong. Although he did not address his comments he made about darker skinned black women, he does talk about other things that made me dislike him (ie, his relationship with his son, his pettiness on social media, his bullying of Tearirra Mari). I still don’t condone his behavior, however, this book does contain so many keys to being successful that actually makes sense. He often would dumb things down and use real examples from his life to further explain each point or rule. One main takeaway is: you don’t have to like someone to learn from them and this book was certainly proof of that.

This book was a big surprise! I did not know much about 50 Cent’s persona apart from his musical career and somewhat aggressive reputation.
Curtis Jackson (he himself accepts that there is a dual personality) talks about different lessons he learned over the years: for example how to surround yourself with positive energy, embrace the uncertainty and face your fears. The most important lesson of all is to not be entitled. You do not own anybody anything, but the opposite is also true.
His bully reputation and cutthroat vibe are in great contrast here. He seems to be a businessman first. You learn a bit more on his competitive side and his insecurities, and he does seems to admit his mistakes and reflect on them. I gained a lot of respect for him.
The Audible narration is by Curtis himself, and is highly enjoyable. Hustle harder Hustle smarter is deeply informative and personal, and gave me a lot of insight on life. I would recommend this book to everyone.
Also the fact that in Goodreads they put the name of the author as Cent, 50 is hilarious to me
