I picked up this book expecting a light, cheesy read that would keep me company at the start of my winter break. Mission accomplished.

I read this book in two sittings in the course of one day.
This is a good read, with some interesting thoughts on the concepts of forgiveness, living your life to the fullest, and pursuing your dreams.
A couple things started to make me shake my head, but I didn't allow myself to think about it too much; if I had I might not have enjoyed it as much as I did.

Too much of a fable, could not connect to characters.  Read reviews at 15% and wasn't encouraged. Stopped at 20%
lighthearted fast-paced

This book was such a lovely read! It definitely wasn't quite to her usual greatness, it was a little predictable and sometimes corny but it was very enjoyable overall. It was like reading a Hallmark Christmas film, I highly recommend it for this festive time of year.

Worth a read at Christmas

Compelling, draws in, and great ending. One of her best.

I don't know how to describe this story without giving a lot away. Joy is newly divorced and struggling to find herself after the fallout from it. She decides to go on an adventure that ends up taking her somewhere she never expected, or believed, she'd be. She's not the only one who will need to suspend her belief - the reader will have to do a little of that, too. I didn't hate this book but I'm not sure I liked it either. My big problem here, I think, is her sister Stacey. I hate her and I struggled more with that dynamic more than any other element of the story. If you read it, let me know what you think!
