Very cute story. It didn't give me the Christmas vibe I was looking for, but a definitely read again
I read Comfort and Joy because my mom recommended it to me. I am so glad that I did read it. Comfort and Joy is beautifully written, emotional, and had me guessing throughout the entire book. The ending was perfect and I will defiantly read it again next Christmas!
10/10 will read more of Kristin Hannah's books!

Interesting story but not the usual Kristin Hannah work of art!
WOW!
At first, a few chapters in I was questioning this whole story and plot. It just didn’t seem plausible but kept hanging on and honestly couldn’t put it down. I was so pleasantly surprised by this! Perfect book to start the Christmas season!

ugh…. just…. no. Maybe if I didn’t read Wish You Were Here by Jodi Picoult earlier this year, I would have liked this book more because it was basically the same story. Kristin Hannah is one of my favorite authors, but this one fell short for me. I think she should stick to historical fiction.

I really enjoyed this short read! I’ll admit, I was dubious at the start, when things straight after the plane crash seemed implausible.
I won’t say a whole lot, as it should be gone into blind, but it was very well written, and flowed very well.
I docked it a star as Daniel was supposed to be Irish (what with his “velvety brogue”, and other such descriptions that made my eyes roll), but his dialogue came off as part Scottish, part leprechaun. NO ONE from the past century says “boyo”. That took from my enjoyment of the story a little, but it was still decent.
