If you're in a love triangle with your significant other and Kristin Hannah, we're on the same page. In all honesty, her historical fiction books are a part of my entire soul now. If you're in love with her writing, such as in The Four Winds, you'll be magnetized to this holiday oriented book with it's beautiful, festive cover simply because it's written by Kristin Hannah. However, I will tell you, the story does not match the title, and I mean that in the most honest way possible. It's a tad dark and dreary, and not necessarily jinglin' my bells. I'll admit, I didn't read the synopsis, so that's totally on me! Just know, if you're looking for a plot twistin' mystery, you will love this. If you're looking for a warm, fuzzy read, maybe grab something different. All in all, her writing has stayed true to her style, and it was extremely easy to read. One thing about my girl Kristin is that she always makes me giggle here and there in her stories.
