Some magic in this book because I couldn't put it down. I did not expect

a plane crash and medical drama, and husband cheating

which I don't associate with a Christmas story, but it oddly works. I fell in love, I was incredibly disappointed and then hopeless and then joy.    As someone who lives in PNW, she accurate captured the rain forest and small towns of the peninsula.   Unbelievable, sure, but I like a good ride.
