This book is “Touched by an Angel” met a hallmark Christmas movie. It was a little too out there for me, but would give way to good conversations in a book club.

What makes this rating 3 stars instead of two is Bobby. He is so endearing and sweet. Other than that this book was little bit too cheesy for me and Joy walking away from the plane crash seemed very unrealistic.


Not one of Kristin Hannah’s best books. I look forward to reading The Nightingale next!
