Not What I was Expecting

I had a whole different review in my head but this book turn a turn for the best. Kristin Hannah will always be one of my favorite authors. This was a very good holiday story that even I didn't guess the ending (which I thought I had). Read it all in one sitting.

Absolutely not what I expected. Gave me goosebumps. The feelings and visuals of the rainforest was beautiful and what a dream come true. I want more of joys story what an incredible and bizarre journey.

This was full of Christmas cheesiness and magic and it was exactly what I needed.
hopeful inspiring fast-paced

While I enjoyed the story, I prefer her more realistic novels. But the story kept interested enough to read it in one sitting.

3.5 stars. Short and sweet story that revisits Kristen Hannah’s favorite themes of love, loyalty, sisterhood strength, survival, and (eventual) thriving living . This story was reminiscent of Hallmark movies with a touch of Christmas magic. Wonderful, heartwarming ending.
adventurous mysterious

It was kind of silly, and cheesy and bad. Like a bad hallmark xmas movie. But it was very easy to read. I guessed the plot minus one part as soon as she got to the PLACE. I wanted to keep reading anyhow to see if I was right
