It’s sad to see so many on the edge of belief just to see them turn their backs on it

An interesting Dante’s inferno-esque exploration of heaven and hell.

I’m currently in the process of grieving a family member, which may be why it hit harder than it would have otherwise. I grew up Protestant, so the idea that souls can be saved after death is not something that I have explored. Obviously I don’t agree with all the points that he makes here, but CS Lewis does provide thought provoking ideas in this short book.

This is a book to ready slowly and many times. I suspect new insights will come with each reading.

This is my 2nd time reading it because the Literary Life Podcast was discussing it, and it was wonderful!

This is the third time reading this book, and it keeps getting better. Lewis paints some very vivid pictures of how a person can be disordered in their soul.
