I was very happy to read some stories about Dream's family members! And I like that each story was done with a different artist. It helped to shape their character and personality as much as Neil's words did. It was a fitting end to a fantastic series.

I would recommend each and every volume in this work.

My first experience of 'The Sandman' comics, and it was really cool to see how these characters and stories came together. The different art styles absolutely made this comic even more special - a true masterclass in how visuals aid and work together with words in comic books and graphic novels.

So. Damn. Good!

This is basically the foundation for my religion.

I am spending 2018 focused almost entirely on despair.

completely worth reading in every single possible way.

Fabulous short story collection (graphic-novel style). Very glad Despair's chapter only had 15 portraits because they were so sad.

One tale for each of the Endless that we came to know and love in the earlier "Sandman" 10 volume series. As I'm sure everyone who is even considering reading this knows, Gaiman is a master of the genre, and his work here does not disappoint.

The whole thing is absolutely beautiful.

Entertaining for the most part.
Some tales & art were AMAZING.
Some tales & art were not.
If you’re into Sandman (& Gaiman’s Endless family) you need to at least check it out.
