Gotta admit, Delirium's chapter flew right over my head

This is more of a compilation of stories about Dream & each of his siblings...stories that Gaiman had rattling around in his brain to go with illustrators he'd been wanting to work with. After seeing their work, I can see why. I'll be looking up other books that these illustrators have worked on.
I can't say I completely understood every story, as a couple of them were rather...artistic...but I'm glad that Gaiman has continued to add to the Sandman collection. I've truly enjoyed reading these books.

Not very compelling... doesn't live up to the earlier books in the series.
That was a neat gook. Seven separate stories, yet they're all connected.
Death's was really good. It took a bit to figure out what was going on. And just after I figured something out, it was confirmed. It made me love Death even more!
Desire's was an interesting story. I love how strong and in control she is. I can see why Desire likes her.
Dream's may be the best. I love that it takes place so long ago. And I love Sol. He's so cute. It's interesting to see some of the history between Dream and his siblings. And Delight is just too cute!
Despair's was...disturbing. But it also was deep and beautiful.
Delirium...well it took quite a while to make sense. Bu it is Delirium after all.
Destruction's was quite interesting. I like that he enjoys his younger sister's company. And, for being Destruction, he can be quite gentle.
Destiny's was such a beautiful, simple, deep piece that just adds to the mystery surrounding him.

So this is a stand-alone tale separate from the main series and written after it. We get a snapshot of each of The Endless, a tale from their pasts (relative to the original series). A really lovely revisit.
I think Despair’s is my favourite because it is so evocative and involving. The others are stories, Despair is like a thought experiment/art installation that draws you in.
