I think, out of all of the tales in this book, Despair's was my favorite. It was much more unique than the others.
This is a great small collection of short stories. One story for each of the endless, and did a really good job capturing the voice of each Endless in the way the story was told as well as the art for each story.
If you like Gaiman's Sandman series, I really recommend this set of stories.

Okay. I’m going to tell you right off the bat: I’m a Neil Gaiman junkie. Anything he does is magic to me, and _The Sandman_ series is no exception.
_Endless Nights_ gives some specific attention to each of Dream’s siblings, a story that swirls around and continues to develop each of the Endless, each with its own unique style.
Beautifully written and beautifully drawn.

More from Neil Gaiman does not disappoint. An amazing collection and companion to The Sandman series.
Each story is about a different Endless character and well done. Each story compelled me in a different way.
But the stories of Death, Dream, Desire, and Destruction will stick with me. I continue to be least in tune with Delirium and Despair (I'm ok with this), as their stories were bewildering. Ending with Destiny was a stroke of genius... and simplistic and fabulous.
A must read.

I enjoyed some of these stories, while others fell flat. My favorites were Death, Dream, and Destiny. The art in Dream's story, done by artist Miguelanxo Prado, was my favorite.. that chapter is so gorgeous.
Desire's story was good, and oddly thought-provoking. I didn't much care for the stories of Despair or Delirium. Destruction was just okay.

Vol 11 of the Sandman series is a collection published Approx. 10 years after the conclusion of the series. It covers one tale per Endless. Despair, Delerium and Destiny have fairly alternative narratives, and Dream is a deep dive into the past (no tales of new Dream)
Overall the story is enjoyable, I wouldn't grab it looking for any reveals for the overarching plot, there are hints as to the cause of Delerium's change from Delight although I couldn't interpret the dense story, also a major suggestion as to Dream's dislike of Desire. Desire's story provides insight into the nature of Desire, which while not containing any specific plot details does provide some character understanding.
TBH while you will want to read this to devour anything Sandman there is nothing necessary in this volume, it feels very similar to the standalone tales sprinkled throughout Sandman.
I will eventually re-read Overture (the prequel) but I will take a break for now!

AMAZING.
The artwork was spectacular, and changed perfectly for each part of the story. The deconstruction of narrative towards the middle of the book was incredible, and left me gasping in wonder at certain beats. Once again, Neil Gaiman delivers beautiful lines, yet in this book, entwines them to suit the essence of each character.
