The end of Book 2 in the Shadow Beast Series broke my heart, even though I know, I KNOW, that Jaymin Even would let us down. She is a romance author, one with tons of talent and experience. In other words, she knows how to twist a tale - as well as the knife, in all the best ways possible.
Reborn affirmed my faith, in spades. Though I was a bit worried about how Mera would accept the current status, I shouldn't have been. Everything may have changed, but Mera is still Mera, AKA Sunshine - and she still has that attitude that carried her through the Library and the Shadow Realm, not to mention Torma. It's that very attitude and determination that galvanizes this story, taking Mera back to where she NEEDS to be.
We get new friends, all the emotions, all the explanations, all the love and ALL the Shadow Beast..... what's not to love? He's more villain than hero and loves in that epic way. A Hero will sacrifice you to save the world while a villain will sacrifice the world to save you.
This is a solid five-star read that brings this to an epic conclusion while taunting hints of future installments with other characters. Angel? Simone? The options are limitless and I can't wait!!

Although I've enjoyed the series this book for me was the weakest. I have loved all the characters but must admit by this time after the first sex scene I skipped the pages of the rest to get back to the story. I felt it ended a little too quickly and with a lot of unanswered questions, although it probably means we get more books. I love the world it's set it but not sure the whole story needed between 2 and 3 pages of telling us what he was doing to her and how it made her feel EVERYTIME they had sex, by the end I was "yeah I know multiple orgasms, he's a stud, yawn"

It was Allright....
I don't Like the Main character she's very..... Brash and flimsy, she makes friends easily and Condems them just so... And she only seems to get on with people who have power....
The story was ok
The Main reason for the 2 star...
During the Book Angel, was strong but polite... she had a beautiful way to her....
Then when we get her POV at the end... (i think a teaser for the next book)
"but I knew that it was only a matter of time before we had no choice but to sort our shit out the old fashioned way."
That wasnt the voice of Angel that i have read the Last 3 books... Thats Just Mera again.... So probably wont read on if character is going to be exactly the same and Ruin the Image i had of Angel she doesn't sound Like and Etheral warrior more an adolescent....
