I loved Laird & Poppy's story. Honestly, I was surprised when the heroine wasn't Nikki's best friend Lauralee but not disappointed. I think we all had that fantasy of the Rock Star singing just for us, or was that just me?

Laird & Poppy made an instant connection at a concert, one that lasted all night and then some. Laird asked her to travel with him, but she never showed up the next day for breakfast. He didn't see her again for over 2 years.

He didn't know that she'd been in an accident on the way to meet him (happens early enough in the book that I don't consider this a spoiler - you already know there's an amnesia aspect to the story). She recovers almost completely except she's forgotten the weekend of the accident, which was also the weekend they'd fallen in love.

I love that it doesn't matter if they have little misunderstandings and miscommunications before they both get over it or address the issues right away. I also love the melding of the Rock Stars with the Westcotts. Nothing like a good Easter Egg to connect a reader to all the stories.

All that really matters to Laird is Poppy loving him, and he thinks it would be better for her full memory to return naturally than for him to tell her they've met and fallen in love once already.

Thank you to S.L. Scott for coming back to Rock Star Romance. It's been too long.

Ok. I'm going to put it simply.

I loved it.

I was smitten with these two from the get-go. The storyline kept me engaged right from the start.

I loved the banter between Poppy and Laird. I loved their chemistry. I loved that they weren't afraid to fall in love (again). I just loved their love. ❤️

This was a great read. Highly recommend.

A love beyond words that speaks volumes. Never Have I Ever, lost my heart so quickly. From an endearing romance to an heartbreaking love story, Scott sends emotions into a tailspin. Poppy and Laird blend sweet and spicy with a profound since of soul. Never Have I Ever blends haunting and heartwarming to create an unforgettable experience.

✨Never Have I Ever✨

I really really liked this book. It was different than any I’ve read as far as the details go. Also I’m a sucker for a good band book.

I really liked the fact that the love story was written twice, that destiny was meant to be. It was a good story, with good highs and lows.

This is the first book I’ve read from this author, and a book I won from Goodreads! I will be looking up more of this authors books!

If you disregard the fairytale that a rockstar sees a fan in a sold-out concert, singles her out for a good time, falls in love during their night of fun and sex, then proposes marriage, then this is a wonderful romance. The author has a wonderful romantic style of writing, and it’s a delight to read about a couple who are having a second chance.

Laird Farris is the guitarist of Ferris Wheel, an up and coming rock band. During one concert in Austin, Texas, he saw Poppy in the crowd, and he singled her out as his destiny. After a wonderful night together, he proposed marriage, she went away to pack but never returned. Of course, with no last names, no phone numbers, and no address, a desolate Laird continued on his tour but he never forgot the one who got away.

Two years later, they find each other and she has amnesia. And this is when, in my opinion, they truly fell in love. Laird was angry until he learned about her accident, then he was protective, loving, and very considerate. He was so easy to fall in love with!

The pace of the story is very slow, and there’s a lot of rumination from both as they deal with their unique situation. He knows her but she doesn’t, so he has to woo her all over again. He’s endlessly patient, and she’s confused and conflicted. He had lost his muse and he got her again, so there’s bumps in the road as they embrace the rockstar life. It’s a very entertaining story, very romantic and very sweet, of course with the required sexy times. Very entertaining and sweet!
