A very well done whodunit, with a resolution that both made sense and surprised me. Nicely written.
This one kept me wondering the whole book. At the end I couldn't put it down, even though I was pretty sure I suspected the guilty party.
I got this book for free from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. Open House has well defined characters, and a plot that is dramatic with twists and turns. This is the kind of book you don't want to put down.

Open House by Katie Sise was a book I picked up because I just needed a thriller in my life. That really perfectly describes what this is - Just a thriller with some twists and a plot that keeps driving. The story focuses on a ten year old missing persons case. Ten years ago, college student Emma disappeared. Since then, her sister has always needed closure of what happened, as to her closest friends. Ten years later, another incident connected to Emma opens the case back up. The story waffles between the past of Emma's story and the present of what's going down to slowly reveal truths on both ends.

Fun and quick to read, but ultimately probably not memorable.
I liked the flashback portions of the story rhat seemed to cast doubt on every character's innocence at various points. The connections and coincidences were fun to read in Emma's first-person perspective.
Ultimately though, the ending fit the story but didn't produce any last-minute revelation that might have added something unique.

Graphic: Violence, Murder, Pregnancy
Wasn't very dramatic. Book dragged a lot for me. Priya had such an overwhelming amount of chapters but played absolutely no part in the story. Let's be honest. Wasn't awful- but not recommending

Pretty good read! Relatable characters, good setting, and quite a few twists. I zoomed right through it.
