The entire series was great. Really good! This book sent me into a reading frenzie. I have read 15-20 books from the day I picked it up. Read 1,2, & 3.

Three more books have been added to the series. As of today I have reread #3 to read #4 now I am reading #5. With that said 1&2 are my favorites of the 6.

Excellent book! This book is about a family who is involved in organized crime/drugs. You get to see the rise and fall of many of the members of the family. It also had a few ladies in the book The Murder Mamas who were contract killers. Put in the mix a Haitian crew that wants in on the drug game in Miami, and you've got one heck of a book. When these three collide, what will happen? You'll have to read it to find out. This book kept my attention from beginning to end. I actually listened to the audiobook. The narrator, Cary Hite is the truth. He keeps you smiling, laughing, and engaged. Some of the scenes in this book were gruesome and very sad. There isn't anything that I didnt' like about this book. I absolutely loved it. My first read by Ashley & JaQuavis, but definitely not my last. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a good urban fiction series. On to book 2 I go!
Gritty street book, somethings were over the top like the Grandfather putting a hit out on his grandson. To the mentioning of what clothes people had on. Can't wait to continue the series.
I stumbled across this author based on a recommendation from my Facebook reading group! The book and the development of the characters definitely held my attention. Enough to make me want to read the entire series.

THIS STORY WAS EVERYTHING. I HAVE READ SO MANY OF THEIR NOVELS AND IDK HOW I MISSED THE CARTEL!! GOING BACK TO READ CARTER'S STORY BEFORE GOING FURTHER BUT ASHLEY IS DEFINITELY THE QUEEN OF HOOD FICTION!!
