DUDE THIS BOOK IS FANTASTIC! I cannot wait to read the sequel, I guessed some of the twists pretty early on and it STILL didn't spoil the book I really, REALLY enjoyed it!

I went into this with absolutely zero expectation, thinking this was just a dark fae smut. A virginal princess about to be corrupted by the evil fae. Well, I was wrong. The mystery surrounding this figure kept me reading on. You know there's a connection between him and the Shadow King, but you can't quite grasp what. When we finally get the reveal, you just go "Oh, that explains everything." Maybe we have to go back and reread the book to find all the clues.
Oh, and the smut was delicious. Worth the wait.
