Cute, nerdy and full of anxiety. Could not be more relatable if they tried. Loved this one so much. Where can I find my own Noah???

Also loved how seamless the transitions between the D&D story and the "real world" were. The campaigned was treated like its own story and it felt very much like what its like to play D&D.

Perfect for what it is. A lighthearted romance. Perfect palate cleanser. One thing I loved about this is the communication between characters was ON POINT. So often romance has a miscommunication trope and I find it so annoying, so to have adults who clearly communicate was a breath of fresh air. You don't need to know anything about Dungeons and Dragons to enjoy this book, but it will make you want to play!

This book really wasn’t for me

This is a cute romance that is perfect for fans of Dungeons & Drama but make it adult instead of YA.

Sadie was kind of a mixed bag for me. There were times when I really liked her and wanted to know more and times where I wished this was a dual POV romance with Noah's perspective instead just to get a break from Sadie. I liked the back and forth story between what was happening in Sadie's life versus what their campaign story would have been, but part of what makes D&D so fun is seeing the DM improvise based on the rolls, and we got very little about what rolls were made or failed. I also had trouble keeping straight which character was who outside of Sadie and Noah.

I love Liam so much. He's the epitome of an amazing best friend. Overall, this is a romance great for people who know *of* D&D but might be newer to the game.

Thank you to NetGalley and publisher for the opportunity to read and review.
