Oh boy oh boy oh boy..... I LOVED this book. There were times where I was extremely turned on by this book. The writing of the sex scenes was intense and showed that the characters liked each other and were enjoying themselves. (Not always so in some smut-ier books)

When the father died I actually got upset. Cole does such a good job getting you to like him that you feel emotional once he is gone. And the sex club scene was AMAZING! One of the hottest BDSM scenes I've read in a while.

I vacillated between 2 and 3 stars because I really had to suspend logic and common sense for the first two chapters but settled on 3 in the end due to the hot kink. I would have loved a dual POV because Sevastyan was mysterious, gruff and hot. Would have been great to see things from his POV instead of relying on Natalie.
I'll most likely give the next book in the series a try since the little teaser was enough to grab my attention.

This book was a great read. I can't wait for more of this series. Sevastyan is a sexy hot mess that you fall in love with. I found myself wanting a happy ending for this guy so bad. And Natalie was a hilarious character. I loved her, she had a backbone. The storyline was quick and a little rushed but it was still a great read.

So not what I thought this was about.
I was expecting a Russian mafiya meets Nebraska farm girl story with a brutal bodyguard.
What I got was that as a backstory and a lot of Dom/sub. I am SO ove all that but it seems like every writer is bringing out a book with all that in it. I hated 50 Shades and finding it has hijacked so many series is really irritating.
Basically the 'plot' was subsumed under all the kink (her words not mine).
