Oh I wanted to love this...I adore Kresley Cole and a huge fan of the Immortals After Dark series! This book was a huge disappointment for me. I could not connect with any of the characters and was just shaking my head at what a door mat Natalie was. The sex was just way too much for me....I would call this BDSM/erotica. Won't be trying any more books in this series.
This sounds pathetic but I loved the characters too much to continue whilst it ends in a HEA for the two main characters- her newly discovered dad does die and I LOVED him I don’t do well with sad things so I spared myself the pain
I still can't get over all this alpha-maleness, but the steamy parts were steamy indeed!
Can't wait to read The Master! Ms Cole outdid herself with this one. Could not put it down and as an added bonus, it has some of the best sex I have read in ages.
