OMG... Finn Harvey is definitely on my top book boyfriends list! I freaking loved this MMC energy he gave off in this book . I seriously read it in one day and couldn't put it down. It has some....
• Curvy FMC
• Neighbor romance
• Bedroom Coach
• No third act breakup
I absolutely loved Avery. I completely identified with her insecurities and vulnerabilities as a curvy woman myself. She was endearing, and I loved that she was a total boss at her job and didn’t take no for an answer just because she was a woman. Finn is the ultimate in book boyfriend material. He's a gooey cinnamon roll full of sweetness and support. His vibes and how he treats Avery throughout the book is just swoop worthy and makes you melt inside the whole time you are reading this book.
The spice and chemistry were so well done. The relationship was supportive and sweet. I love a good revenge against the ex storyline, and there's definitely some of that here, too. The “turning point” in this book i definnately didn’t see coming, but Avery handled it like the boss she is.
This book is totally worth the read. It has great themes about moving past toxic relationships and loving yourself. For that alone, I think every romance reader should pick it up.

Desde lo del pirata todo se fue muy abajo (y lo de reina me tiene harta).
I absolutely loved this book. Had me hooked from the first page to the the last..

i can sincerely see that this book is one of the few reads from booktok that i’ve found which does not have some distorted and disturbing view of sex and perverted audience. while this book is very smutty, i found every part of it to be sincere and beautiful. i love the way in which finn engages with avery, like it’s not just sex for the purpose of reassurance. avery was on a journey to become the best version of herself and finn helped her reach that. i also enjoy how at the ends the author made a genuine attempt to highlight the fact that sex is not the key to building a sincere or strong relationship. rather that their relationship was based on the strength of them as individuals. i also appreciate the way we see them interact, yes it is sexual but there is a large part of the book that is intimate in the most reassuring ways. he made sincere attempts to connect with her and he got to know her for who she was as a person.
AND i hated palmer from the jump. nothing about her rubbed me the right way. i could sense that she was snakes from the start and i was right she was! that girl was so god awful and sincerely cannot believe that avery couldn’t see it for herself. not once did she even stop to pretend to care about avery. at all. and that’s kinda sad imo, because avery was so awesome. i also wish i got to see her and mason receive their comeuppance. they’re the most insufferable people and i agree with finn, he should feel and be embarrassed about everything that happened between them
