Excellent book. Given that it is supposedly "semi-autobiographical" I feel a little sorry for his wife.
Loved it, I hope Dickens' other work is this good! (Sadly, this is the first Dickens I've ever read!)
I failed. I enjoyed the first third of this book a lot and was sure that it was going to be a great book. However, once David becomes an adult the book seems to lose steam and I stopped caring. I made it to page 500 and need to walk away. I just can’t keep going.
