I found it to be alright. The action was good and the ending really just screamed to me “the next book is going to be even better”

~ Amazing Sequel!! ~

This was such a fun read!!! I absolutely adored Oathbound and I love anything Victoria writes so I knew this was going to be amazing!!

Silver Bounty was super fast paced and a great follow up! It did a great job raising the stakes and expanding on all the characters’ journeys. I loved seeing Emme and Arn’s developing relationship and how they navigated the ticking time bomb of Emme’s oathbinding. I also really really liked the addition of Emric and Ontario’s povs, it was a fun touch and made the plot love much faster!!

Definitely a five star read and I would highly recommend!! I can’t wait for the final day installment!!

*** thanks so much to the author for an advanced copy to read and review! All thoughts and opinions are my own. ***

Because this is a sequel, I won’t spoil anything and just say if you love pirates, adventures out at sea, romance, and plot twists, then read these books!

I loved it! Such a great sequel with all the previous piratey-ness and more. Victoria’s descriptions are lovely; I can taste the sea air. If you read Oathbound, you need this sequel.

I had the pleasure of reading book one in the Royal Rose Chronicles late last year and book 2 did not disappoint!

This was phenomenal. Every plot twist had me gasping. The pacing of this book was nice, and it was easy to devour. The betrayals were immense and cutthroat, some of which I am still reeling over.

There were a lot of character POVs, which jarred me a little bit, but overall I enjoyed that they were there because it let us, the readers, know about some things before the characters did.

I'm really eager for the next book, especially after that ending!

If you like pirates, YA books, and adventure, I fully recommend this series.

The Royal Rose Chronicles continues with book two, Silver Bounty. All of our favorites (and not so favorite) characters are back with a few newcomers. Stakes are still higher than ever with Emme’s illness and oath binding, Admiral Bones’s mysterious son calling in his dead father’s debtors, and the king beginning to wage war against all pirates.

Adventure and betrayal still rule the seas in this YA fantasy. I love this series and all the great characters. Poor Emme and Arn are thrust together time after time only to be torn apart again. I’m rooting for their happily ever after.

This is a clean book for any reader regardless of age. It is pirates, so there are instances of mild violence but nothing described in depth or explicit. No language. PG in all aspects.

Book three is coming soon so catch up on this swashbuckling adventure.
