The Carmichaels are back! The laughs those siblings give is never ending. They are up to their shenanigans once gain. Man does Maddox have me swooning big time in this one. I loved this friends to lovers romance. Ashley is going on her honeymoon without the groom, but someone else she knows very well. It brings those buried feelings right to the surface. Ashley and Maddox are so romantic together. They're so sweet they make your teeth hurt. They have that easy was about them and have such a deep connection. This book sucked me right in and I couldn't put it down. I'm so in love with the Carmichaels, but Ashley, her friends, and mom are just as awesome. I hope both her friends get books especially Becca.

Of course we get some brother shenanigans and some drama. This series is quickly becoming one of my favorites! I'm loving the Carmichael brothers!

i was enjoying this book so so much until a bit after halfway, but then it just went meh for me.
banks i love youuu! also can we please get rebecca her own book? i want to read her finding love again, thank you very much.
btw, the insane overuse of italic text drove me CRAZY. seriously, i felt like i couldn’t find a single page where there wasn’t italic somewhere.

This book was so cute and fun and I blew through this in one sitting! I absolutely LOVED Maddox and Ashley and his protectiveness over her when it comes to her family. The relationship between Maddox and his brothers was hilarious with their pranks, especially anything having to do with Banks. The family dynamics with the Carmichael's was great and makes me want to move to a beach town and join their Sunday dinners!
Fun and easy read.
I was hoping for a bit more tension, but, unfortunately, Maddox and Ashley were adults and talked about their attraction to each other and agreed to a fling during the trip. So, there is no tension/longing other than a couple of quick instances at the beginning.
I was really annoyed by Banks at the beginning, but he got better towards the end. I loved that he got so pissed off for Ashley after he found out her ex hit her.
Another thing I really loved was Becca’s advice to Ashley. Becca’s story is heartbreaking, but she made the most sense out of everyone.
I was not a fan of Maddox and Ashley getting engaged as soon as they made up. They never even really dated. They just jumped into this relationship (sexually, at first) and then BAM! - engaged. Not just that, but planning to get married a couple days later. I guess you can write it off by stating that they’ve been friends forever and have just been waiting for each other all this time, but I still think it’s too soon.
