This book was a fun read. I enjoyed the two main characters as they struggled with others expectations of them and explored their options in life. I thought the big plot was a bit far fetched, a bit predictable, and a bit illogical. I enjoyed the characters much more than the plot.

The book started off a little slow and unnecessarily anxiety-inducing, but about halfway through it picked up, and I couldn’t put the book down. A book about secrets, yes, but more importantly, what two women accomplish when they team up and lean into what they each do best.
