Absolutely stunning. Addie as a protagonist needs some time to grow on you, but once she does, she is so completely lovable that you never want to miss her again. Henry as the second protagonist is immediately lovable and feeling for him is very easy, especially for people who may struggle with clinical depression themselves. Both their struggles as well as their strange relationship draw you into the story so thoroughly that it is hard to put the book down once they have met, even though Addie's relationship with Luc may be a tad more interesting. All in all, this is a book about love and humanity and reading it is truly like nothing else.

I enjoyed reading this book and will absolutely read it again. It made me feel so many emotions,  mostly a mix of happiness and sadness and some anger honestly. It’s a beautiful story about art and hope and creative inspiration and womanhood and being seen.

Truly not what I was expecting when starting this book but I couldn’t put it down. I fell in love with the characters and it was a welcome escape from real life!
