While it was a fun and funny read (snort and lol, of course!) the story was very predictable and a much like the same 'ole same 'ole. Maybe the next will be better!
I was almost done with the series after reading the 16th book in the series. I thought I would give this one a try since I was in need of a book for the beach. Lots of silly antics and lots of wondering why Stephanie ever thinks it is a good idea to go back to her apartment.
Ok much better than the last one. We're getting back on track with the Stephanie Plum mysteries and love triangle.
I like the action, but miss the humor. Lula is just annoying now. Stephanie is back to being blind and dumb. How obvious was the Dave thing??? Jeez... And I guess I'm totally Team Morelli, cuz the Ranger fling just didn't work for me.
I think that this is the best Stephanie Plum I've read in a while. I also love the fact that there is some Stephanie/Ranger/Morelli action in this one too!
I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars for this one. I want to give it four because I laughed really hard. It's definitely one of the funniest Stephanie Plum books yet. I laughed out loud in multiple places. The reason I decided to go with three stars is because I'm getting really frustrated with the whole love triangle plot. It's getting really old, the story isn't moving forward at all. I need my characters to progress and I feel like Stephanie isn't. It's time for her to put on her big girl panties and make a decision about what she wants to do with her life.
This was my least favorite book in the series. Stephanie was a real dumb-dumb through the whole book and I kept getting really irritated by her stupidity.
