I feel like the child within me recognised this as a bed time story so i really struggled to finish this book as it kept putting me to sleep, even though it was not boring! Some of the writing is very very witty (if only i could remember it but that's unlikely because i was half asleep reading!). I really enjoyed his narrative - as the storyteller.

Greatly enjoyed by my nine year old, to whom I read out loud. Here first question upon finishing - "Is there a sequel?"

7 year old declared: 10 STARS!!!

A fun Tolkien tale written for the younger readers/listeners. It was a fun adventure story that had us excited to keep reading.

Okay that was fun, really short, pretty illustrations, cute backstory.
At times you could really feel that it was made up in one evening and not overly edited but it was nice.

Such a masterpiece of Tolkien storytelling. It is full of magic and adventure! I can definitely see this as a staple bedtime story for the little ones in your life.

A very imaginative fairy tale by J.R.R. Tolkien that starts of with a wizard and a small dog and is followed by a wild adventure to the far side of the moon and into the depths of the ocean. Written for kids with a lot of heart and humour.

"Düşler gerçek olur mu?"
"Benimkilerin bazıları oluyor," dedi yaşlı adam. "Bazıları, hepsi değil; hemencecik oldukları da çok nadir, daha düşü görürken olmaları da. Ama neden düşleri soruyorsun?"
"Yalnızca merak ettim."
