it’s pretty short so im not sure how to rate it, so three stars it is. it was okay, nothing to complain about but not like GREAT y’know, cause its so short. there were a few things i found interesting but you’d only notice them if you’ve read the original mistborn trilogy first.

I have more questions than I did when I started this piece

A nice little prequel. I would have preferred more about the namesake metal, but the background on kelsier's training (and what is influencing it) is interesting!

Excellent backstory for Kelsier, a fan-favorite from the original Mistborn series. However, it didn't seem like an illustrative enough depiction considering the significance of his character. That being said, I am subject to change this review as I learn more of him in the other Cosmere works.
