book 2 in the dream harbor series! i loved pumpkin spice cafe i believe i gave it 4 stars when i read it almost a year ago as well! with that book i realised this series would include less plot, more chilled sweet read, comfy cozy vibes with some spice! so from this book i expected the same and that’s what i got! except this had even more spice!
i thought this story was sweeter and lovelier than book 1, i thought it was more interesting and had a bit more plot in general! i loved the scavenger hunt with the clues and seeing a birthday party! you don’t see that a lot in books that was so cute!
i love noah and hazel i think they are so cute together and their relationship developed sweetly. i liked them as a couple even more than book 1 couple so this was so nice to read. I ALSOOOO loved to read about book 1 couple jeanie and logan in this book! it was so cute to see where they ended up. i thought it was so amazing to read about!

Tropes:
• opposites attract
• small town
• forced proximity
• he falls first
This was THE most perfect book for fall. I mean a little mystery/scavenger hunt.
Hazel and Noah intrigued me from book #1, you could tell something was up with those two. I was so happy to get their story finally. The mystery of someone planting book clues within the library and Hazel finding them was perfection. I loved that it ended up being her dad(s) and the book club that were involved in the mystery. I loved seeing Noah work thru his issues with his family and really get his self confidence back,
Overall, "The Cinnamon Bun Bookstore" is a heartwarming story that will resonate with readers who appreciate the magic of books and the comfort of good food. It’s a perfect cozy read for anyone looking to escape into a world filled with warmth, community, and delicious treats. Highly recommended!
