Nikola Tesla was brilliant and forward thinking. His contributions to electricity and magnetism forever changed how much of the world lives and works. I would say he was ahead of his time in his view on social issues, such as racial and gender equity. Though scientifically motivated, he was a spiritual individual and acknowledged there were certain occurrences and phenomena that couldn’t be explained scientifically. I was impressed with Tesla’s awareness and self expression, and would definitely recommend this read.

Brilliant egomaniac-just my kind of dude! I'm pretty sure this book was just pieced together from various articles notes jotted down in the lab, so it lacks a cohesive feeling. Not a lot of meat, but nice to see his thoughts in his own words. Last paragraph on human nature and war(written on the heels of WWI) was just a bit chilling given the current world climate. Seriously the coolest dude-ever!

This book is only 62 pages long, but it was one of the hardest books I've ever read. Tesla was a genius, but undoubtedly mad. Definitely worth a read.

What a wild read. I know a little about Nikola Tesla, but reading his explanations of his process, his life, and his inventions was fascinating. I'm stunned by some of the predictions he made and early inventions that clearly led to some of today's biggest technologies. I definitely want to read a biography of him from a writer - sometimes he glazes over parts of the story, or nonchalantly talks about an invention, and I'd love more context.

Surprisingly entertaining, and an easy read (not dense). Tesla was a genius with a brilliant and perceptive mind. I found his reflections and anti-war stance particularly moving.

A very clever book, Nikola Tesla was quite the genius. I believe it was worth reading just to understand how one of the fathers of modern science thinks and feels about certain subjects.
