Fiona is a single mother and CEO of the Abry Watch Co. Her life consists of long work days and evenings with her daughter, but not much else. And certainly, she has not given herself any time for love. When her eccentric mother brings her a family heirloom that is told to transport one to their dream life, what it there to lose.

When Fi dreams of a totally different life on a small tropical island with Aaron McCormick and their two children, can she truly see herself living this life that is so different that the one that she lives when she is awake? In her waking hours, her best friend, Max, is trying to win her for a life that would be comfortable but not the passion that she is realizing that she is craving. And how could her dream world become a reality?

This is the third book in the Ghosted series. I liked this book and I liked the element of magic that runs through the series. I must say that this was my least favorite of the three. With that being said, I am still excited for book four and would still recommend Fated .

Sarah Ready is a consistent and entertaining writer.

This book was lovely in concept.  I listened to the audio.  Perhaps I just wasn't in the mood (as I'm very much a mood reader) but it just didn't hold my interest.  This is the third book in her Ghosted series.  They can all be read as independent books.  There's no crossover characters, it's just the idea of the book that's similar.  The characters in Fated were likeable and I found myself rooting for them.  I will try reading the actual book before I give it any kind of star rating.
slow-paced

I did enjoy the concept of Fated, the third book in the Ghosted series and there were parts of the book that I loved such as the concept of a workaholic businesswoman by day, living out her own personal fantasies in dreams that resembled a day time soap opera by night, complete with a carefree lifestyle that seemed something her hippy mother would approve of .  But there were other parts…… well not so much.  I felt the story dragged a bit but the main thing with Fated was I just didn’t like the characters.  Fiona seemed quite cold and closed off and I felt she’d kept poor Max dangling on a string and in dreamland Aaron…...well he came across as weak and a bit of a wimp.  On the whole I struggled to finish this book but finish it I did and thats only because I initially felt the same way about the two previous books in this series but eventually enjoyed them both and I hoped that Fated would be the same.

“The only thing in life we can be sure of is that time moves on, and if you don’t reach out and hold onto what you love, then it’s time may have passed forever.”

Out of all the books in this series, Fated is my favorite so far!
But, don’t worry cause you can enjoy this book as a standalone just fine without reading the previous ones!

Fated is a well-written story about love, hope, dreams, family and friendship.
This story is such an emotional roller coaster ride – I laughed, almost cried and smiled all the way through reading this book.

The plot was fascinating and I find myself wondering how Fiona and Aaron is going to meet up in the real world!
Turns out it’s not just some easy and predictable storyline, there are times I find myself at the edge of my seat wondering if everyone will got their happy ending...

I feel very satisfied with the ending, albeit a little sad for one of the characters but good news is the next book is gonna be about him and I can’t wait to read his happy ending cause honestly he really deserved it!

Overall, it’s such a page turner, my eyes are glued to my kindle that I finished it in just one day!
I’m looking forward to read the next book – Wished soon!

I received an advanced review copy for free from through Netgalley, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Massive thank you to the author and publisher!

I loved this book! I loved the magical realism elements! And I loved the slight twist at the end, making it not as predictable as I thought. This is my favourite book in this series and I will definitely be picking up book 4!

Fated by Sarah Ready is book 3 in the Ghosted series and it is AMAZING. The premise of this story is so unique just as Ghosted and Switched.

Fated follows Fiona who is Daniels sister from Ghosted, they are the heirs to a Swiss watchmakers company. Fiona is given a an heirloom watch that shows you what your heart desires when you are dreaming, now Fiona is stuck between 2 worlds. Her real world she is a successful business woman, single mom to her daughter Mila, and her boyfriend Max who I would say they are not in love but have love for each other. Then, there is her dream world, when she is asleep she is married to Aaron McCormick and a mom to Amy and Sean in a small ocean town. Here is the catch Fiona comes in the form of Becca Aaron’s AWFUL wife.

Shakira Shute does an amazing job with her narration!!! Aaron broke my heart and healed my heart all in this book. I went through all of the emotions that Fiona went through. This story is so amazing I wish I could give it more than five stars. I went on an emotional roller coaster ride that had twists and turns, and brought tears to my eyes. As mentioned before the premise of this story was so unique having a watch that can bring to life what your heart desires when you are dreaming. Sarah did such a great job of making you feel like you were living both worlds with Fiona and making you feel like you had a connection with all of the characters. I could go on and but I won’t. What I will say is you should either read or listen to this book as soon as you can because you will not want to put it down. A VERY BIG thank you to NetGalley, Swift & Lewis Publishing, LLC, and Sarah ready for letting me listen to the ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions!!!

I absolutely loved this book. This book was definitely something different compared to other books I've read. I wasn't able to predict the ending so easily, which is a good thing. You will cry and laugh at the same time when reading this. This was my first book by her and now I find myself going on Amazon to buy her physical copy of the book ( I read this as an ebook). I definitely recommend adding this book to your TBR. Thank you Sarah for writing such a beautiful book, it definitely won't be the last book I read from you.
