i think i enjoyed this book?

it was my first time ever really reading anything like this. i’m not sure i’ve read a book where the main character truly is pure evil. it was disturbing to even hear her thoughts

this book was super good at setting the scene and making a tense mood

definitely read up on all the content warnings for this book- it may be short but it packs a huge punch

I listen to the audiobook of this and thought it was really easy to listen to, especially with the narrator that I had. I finished the book in a day.

However the book was kind of boring. I loved the pacing and the characters were interesting despite being unlikable. REALLY didn't like the ending.

What a horrible adventure that exposed the darkest inclinations a human can have…and their awful consequences. My stomach was churning through most of it and I loved every minute!
