This was  super cute story, but not my favorite Katherine Center (that honor goes to The Rom-Commers). I did like the characters (except Cole, he can shove it), I thought the storyline was interesting and unique. I thought the dialogue was super drawn out in some spots and the miscommunication was annoying.

Make no mistake- Katherine Center is my favorite romance author and I will never not read her books. This just was not my favorite from her!

I do not generally like romcoms, but reading this book, I realized that was largely because those romance books don’t focus enough on the comedy. This book was laugh out loud funny! I loved Center’s writing style. It made all the tropey things feel believable, or at the very least self-aware. I appreciated the deeper themes throughout this book, including eating disorders, cyber bullying, and survivor’s guilt, which definitely elevated this book to more than just your typical, forgettable romcom

Great, quick summer read. It’s the equivalent of sipping one of those drinks Rue is always serving. And I just hope there really is a dog named George Bailey out there (and maybe a Hutch).

The plot of this is nonsense. Not her best work. Objectification of MMC juxtaposed with FMC's descriptions of body dysmorphia = tiresome. I guess it felt like my personal trauma was being used as a plot device. Still! I read it in like twelve hours.

Zero 🌶️. Lots of unnecessary drama. But I laughed, I cried and I even got goosebumps. Hutch makes this book and I love a good romcom.
