Each new book Kendall comes out with becomes my new favorite. Kendall is a talented writer that continues to pour out excellent books. Taking His Shot is not any different. I have been waiting to read this book for a while but I am sad to see this series come to to end. I cannot wait to read what Kendall produces next.

Hockey-player-hating daughter of the coach gets auctioned to the team’s rookie. He must prove his love.

Kendall definitely saved the best for last with Taking His Shot!!! Jordie and Harper's story was one that had me devouring page after page of this swoon-worthy read! Jordie is the rookie "playboy" for the Ice Hawks and one that definitely LOVES his women, until the one woman he wants won't give him the time of day.....Harper Allen! Harper is the coach's daughter and seemingly, the one woman who has sworn off dating hockey players much to Jordie's dismay! Jordie definitely doesn't take no for an answer, so if you're curious about his sexy, witty, swoon-worthy ways and if he gets the girl.... one-click this amazing story!

Easy and quick read. Nothing too suppring and seams like I have read it couple of times before just with differnt names.

**3.5 Stars**
Harper does her dad a favor and stands in as the Ice Princess for the team charity auction where guests can bid for a date with her. Harper has a strict rule that she doesn't date hockey players - ever. So when Jordie Prescott, the rookie her on her dad's team, wins the auction cue the big eye roll and the chase.

Before the second chapter was over I already knew where this story was going and what the conflict would be which is kind of disappointing. Jordie was so fun and sweet. I loved the tactics he took to try and get Harper's attention. Really fun and I found myself perpetually smiling. I was worried about Harper at first - she was so bitchy and stubborn at first I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to like her. But she ended up winning me over. I ended up understanding and respecting where she was coming from. Despite the predictability of the story I really enjoyed this one just like all the others. I am sad that this world is over. Love these Hot Jock boys.

OH MY DAMN....I seriously fall in love with each Hot Jock that Kendall Ryan gives us and I am heartbroken that this is the last one we’re getting...but holy hell did she save the best one for last. Jordie is beyond swoon worthy!! He takes his shot and Harper, the coach’s daughter no less, doesn’t make it easy for him...but like the good hockey player he is, he doesn’t give up easily.

The Hot Jock series has come to end with the young hotshot rookie who first won our heart in Wild For You.

Jordie is young and confident but also insecure. He is very self aware of his issues and it made him that much more charming.

Harper learned to let her guard down and stop fighting the one thing she set out to fight.

This book made me want to go back and re-read the series. The whole gang was pretty active in this book and I really enjoyed the banter between all the players.

I do find these books a little short and typically finish them in one sitting.

Read an arc in exchange for my honest review.

Jordie's story has been siting in my TBR for months now. Not because i didnt want to read it, but because I didnt want this series to end. Jordie and Harper's story was one I couldn't put down. Jordie really did everything he could to get her attention. He was sweet (even though he made a stupid bet) and caring and really there for her for everything.

Jordie has to be my favorite in this series. I hate to see this series end but i also loved how the ending went.
