While I’m sad to see it end, I think that Jordie and Harper were the perfect way to end the Hot Jocks series! I LOVE how Harper made Jordie work for her attention! Their chemistry was perfect, I loved their banter and the sex was HOT!! This is one of THE best hockey series that I’ve ever read and each couple brought so much to the table.
This book is bittersweet because it is the end of the series and time to say goodbye to the Seattle Ice Hawks.
Jordie is the rookie and decided to place a bet for a date with the Ice Princess, who just so happens to be the coach’s daughter, Harper. Harper doesn’t date players, she saw how things were growing up with her father’s career and it’s just not something she was interested in.
Jordie definitely has his work cut out for him when it comes to Harper but he doesn’t give up easily. He does whatever he can to get Harper’s attention and to get a date with her, including forming a book club with the rest of the guys.
There is some great chemistry between Harper and Jordie. He’s a good guy, he hasn’t had the past life growing up and doesn’t really let anyone know all the details, but he let Harper in. Harper is tough, she knows what she wants and likes to stick to her guns. It was enjoyable watching them get closer, then of course there was some drama when things were just starting to get good between them.
Taking His Shot is a MUST READ and a great ending to the series.

This is the final book in the Hot Jocks Series and rookie hockey player Jordan "Jordie" Prescott and his coach's daughter, Harper's story entailing a charity auction and a bet. As the coaches daughter and living in the sport life she always set a rule for herself not to date players. Jordie wins a date with Harper (at the time of the bet he did not know who she was) and is determined to change her mind on going out with him. His persistent and the great lengths he goes through to get Harper to go out with him will have you feeling awww.
Narrators Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood was a good listen portraying Jordie and Harper. They brought some personality to the characters on their growing connection. Two people with personal histories that makes wanting more with anyone can be challenging. When all is said and revealed the question is whether they can take the risk for more.
This was a sweet ending to the series. Snippets of the characters from the other book was an added bonus. You cannot help but fall for all the Hockey players in this series and their stories.

I’m not ready to say good bye to these Hot Jocks but this was the best way to end the series and I’m so glad I’d can go back and revisit them anytime I want.
I fell in love with Jordie, the rookie player for the Seattle Ice Hawks, in the previous story and was very excited to get my hands on it. I enjoyed every single part of his story. He has been watching his teammates find their soul mates and is finally ready for something deeper than a one night stand. When he bids on, and ends up winning, a date with Harper, things become more real. Harper is one of his coaches' daughters and she refuses to date a hockey player.
Harper and Jordie's story was so enjoyable and their chemistry was smoking hot. He had to do a little work to get the girl but it was so worth it in the end.
This story, heck, the whole series, is so much fun and I have enjoyed every single book. If you're a lover of sports romances, you definitely need to grab these up! They can all be read as standalones but in order to get the full story I'd recommend reading from the beginning.
Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.

My favorite book in the Hot Jocks series. The story is so cute and funny, you can't help but fall in love with Jordie. Harper is the best, determined and fearless. It was the perfect ending to the series.

This was the final book in the Hot Jocks Hockey Romance. This was Jordy's story. When he wins a date with the fill in ice princess at the charity ball, he soon leans his date is with fiesty Harper, his coaches daughter. And she has one rule. She doesn't date hockey players.
Jordy makes a stupid bet with his teammates that he can get her to go out with him and he goes all in for her. Turns out he finds himself opening up to her and telling her things he has never told anyone else. Both their feelings start to blossom as Harper finds herself drawn to the exact type of man she never thought she would want. But there is something different about Jordy. He's sweet and sincere and he starts reading the same romance book she is reading in order to find something in common with her.
But hey, remember that bet...... yeah, it comes back to bite him. Harper finds herself on his arm at a hockey function and they seem like the perfect happy couple. but then she over hears Morgan trying to pay up his bet.
Humiliated, she runs off and refuses to speak to him.
He finally reaches out to her the only way he knows how. He writes her a letter. More like a journal, detailing his feelings for her and how he screwed up.
It's not my favorite of the series, but it was a nice ending. We of course got to see the other characters through their eyes. Even Landon and Aubrey make an appearance at the end at Justin and Elisa's wedding.
I listened to this on audible and I once again loved the voice actors. They do a great job of making these characters come to life.
